Android folder sync · Google Drive

The folders on your Android. Safely in the Drive you own.

SagoSync connects the folders you choose on Android with your Google Drive. Your file bytes move directly between your device and Google—never through a SagoSync file server.

A deliberate connection, not a blind backup

Choose the folders. Choose the direction. Keep control.

SagoSync is for the Android folders that matter to your workflow—recordings, downloads, camera files, or another folder you select. Create a folder pair once, then let the app follow the rules you set.

1

Pair a local folder

Choose a real Android folder and a destination you select directly from My Drive.

2

Choose a sync method

Upload, download, two-way, or a move mode. The setting belongs to that folder pair.

3

Sync on your terms

Run it manually or on a schedule. Pro can respond when a watched folder changes.

Privacy by architecture

Your files are not our product.

SagoSync does not receive, relay, inspect, or keep a cloud copy of your file contents, file names, folder paths, Drive file lists, or Drive credentials.

Direct transfer Files travel directly between your Android device and Google Drive over HTTPS.
Drive access for your choice SagoSync asks for Drive access so you can browse My Drive and choose a folder. It syncs only inside the folder you select.
Selected folders only The app asks for Android file access so you can choose a folder. It synchronizes only the folder pairs you configure.
Separate purchase account Google sign-in is used only when managing Pro; it is not your Google Drive authorization.

Before you choose a sync method

Sync is flexible. Deletion is always explicit.

Upload or download

Copy in one direction while leaving the original in place.

Two-way sync

Keep SagoSync-created Drive files and local files aligned. Two-way sync never propagates deletions.

Move modes, clearly named

Only “upload then delete” and “download then delete” remove the original—and only after the copied file is verified.

Questions worth answering before installation

SagoSync, in plain terms.

Does SagoSync upload my files to its own server?

No. File bytes move directly between your Android device and Google Drive. SagoSync does not operate a file relay or retain a cloud copy.

Can I choose an existing Google Drive folder?

Yes. You can browse My Drive, choose an existing folder, or create one. That permission is used to make your choice; synchronization stays within the folder you selected, and Drive data is not sent to SagoSync servers.

Why does the app ask for Android file access?

Folder synchronization needs to read and write the folders you explicitly choose. SagoSync uses that access only for the folder pairs you configure.

What happens in a move mode?

The original is removed only after the copy is verified. “Upload then delete” removes the verified phone original; “download then delete” moves the verified Drive copy to Google Drive trash.
