1. What SagoSync is

SagoSync is an Android utility that synchronizes folders you choose on your device with the Google Drive account you connect. File bytes travel directly between your device and Google over HTTPS. SagoSync's own servers exist only to manage your SagoSync account and to verify Google Play purchases; they do not relay or store your files. SagoSync is published by SagoLink Co., Ltd. (사고링크), Republic of Korea.

2. Dependence on Google services

The core features of SagoSync depend on services operated by Google, including Google Drive, the Google Drive API, Google sign-in, and Google Play — under Google's own terms, policies, quotas, and periodic verification requirements. Google may change, restrict, suspend, or discontinue these at any time, and may change what permissions apps like SagoSync are allowed to hold. If that happens, some or all SagoSync features may become limited or unavailable. SagoLink does not control Google and cannot guarantee the continued availability of Google services.

3. Changes to and discontinuation of the service

SagoLink may modify or discontinue the service, in whole or in part, for operational, technical, legal, or business reasons. For material changes or discontinuation, SagoLink will give reasonable advance notice on this website or inside the app where practicable. Because files transfer directly between your device and Google Drive, backups you have already configured are designed to keep working on your device even if SagoSync's account service becomes unavailable.

4. SagoSync Pro (one-time purchase)

SagoSync Pro is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Google Play. It unlocks the Pro features as provided at the time of purchase on supported devices. It is not a subscription and is not a promise of indefinite future updates, new features, or compatibility with all future Android or Google changes. Payments and refunds are handled under Google Play's payment and refund policies; nothing in these terms limits any refund or withdrawal rights you have under applicable law.

5. Your data and your responsibility

Your files exist only on your device and in your Google Drive. SagoLink keeps no copy and therefore cannot restore files that are deleted or corrupted. Some synchronization modes that you can select — the "move" modes — delete the source copy after a verified transfer. You are responsible for choosing modes appropriate to your data and for keeping independent copies of data you cannot afford to lose.

6. Acceptable use

You may use SagoSync only in compliance with applicable law and Google's terms. You may not use it to infringe others' rights, to interfere with the service, or to reverse the purchase-verification mechanism.

7. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, SagoLink is not liable for damage caused by circumstances outside its reasonable control, including changes, failures, or suspension of Google services, device or network failures, or your choice of synchronization modes. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for SagoLink's intent or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law. Where liability is not excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid for SagoSync Pro, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.

8. Changes to these terms

SagoLink may amend these terms. Amendments are posted on this page with a new effective date; changes that are material or disadvantageous to users will be announced at least 30 days before they take effect, on this page or inside the app. If you do not agree to amended terms, you may stop using the service.

9. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are subject to the competent court under Korean civil procedure law. These terms are provided in Korean and English; if the two versions differ, the Korean version prevails. Questions: sagosync@sagolink.com. See also the privacy policy.
